Applications

Lightweight concrete can be defined as concrete with an oven-dry density smaller than 2,000 kg/m³, fully or partially composed out of lightweight granulates. Since Argex concrete compositions are often custom-made, innumerable mixtures of various types of Argex grains can be made: round or broken grains, normal or structural, mixed with heavy sand or with light Argex sand, water, various concrete types and additives. After all, every yard has its own demands and every prefabrication plant establishes its individual parameters.
We distinguish Argex open textured concrete, half-open texture concrete, compact lightweight concrete and structural lightweight concrete.
