Lightweight backfill

• low density
• limitation of the vertical and/or horizontal load in constructions and sub-bases. This load depends indeed of the density and the internal friction   = 35°
• 1 m³ Argex = 1 ton lighter
• draining capacity: 450 l/m³ - Argex 8/16
• maximum load on compressed layer: 10 to 15 T/m²
• cohesion: zero
• stability: self-settling quasi zero

Ecological applications

• draining capacity: 450 l/m³ voids content between the grains
• balance drainage – water management: 88% voids content/m³
• lightweight substrate
• low-compressible structure
• air permeability: 430 l/m³ voids content
